We Do It Right, To Keep You On The Road
Brett Koepke began his journey in the diesel and automotive industry at just 16 years old. What started as curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion. While many people see their career as simply a job, Brett discovered early on that working on engines, solving problems, and helping people was something he truly loved.
With more than 23 years of experience, Brett built his reputation through hard work, determination, and an unwavering commitment to his craft. For nearly eight years, he worked as a mobile mechanic out of the back of his pickup truck, traveling wherever customers needed him. Long days, late nights, and difficult repairs never discouraged him; they fueled his passion even more.
Throughout his career, Brett also worked in an auto repair shop that helped shape him not only into a stronger mechanic but also into a stronger person. There, he learned the value of integrity, customer relationships, and treating every vehicle as if it belonged to family.
In January 2022, Brett took a leap of faith and officially opened Kepkee’s Diesel & Performance, turning years of dedication, sacrifice, and experience into a business built on honesty, quality workmanship, and genuine care for customers.
For Brett, this industry has never been “just a job.” It’s his hobby, his passion, and the work he loves most, second only to spending time with his beautiful family. Every repair represents an opportunity to help someone get back on the road safely and confidently.
Today, Brett continues to live by the values that started his journey: work hard, stay humble, and never stop doing what you love. His story is proof that with passion, perseverance, and faith in yourself, a dream can become reality.

For us, this industry is more than just a business; it’s a passion. We believe every customer deserves honesty, transparency, and quality workmanship. Every repair is treated with care and attention because we understand how important your vehicle is to your daily life.
Everything we do at Kepkee’s Diesel & Performance is guided by three core values that define how we operate and how we treat every customer.
We provide service for a wide range of diesel powered vehicles, including:
What truly sets us apart is our commitment to the future. We are passionate about training and mentoring the next generation of mechanics, helping young people develop the skills, discipline, and confidence needed to become the best technicians they can be. We believe in passing down knowledge, strong work ethic, and pride in craftsmanship.
We are also proud supporters of our local community. Kepkee’s Diesel & Performance dedicates time, resources, and financial support to youth programs throughout Pinellas Community because we believe investing in our youth helps build a stronger future for everyone.
At the end of the day, our mission is simple: provide reliable repairs, build lasting relationships, support our community, and treat every customer like family.
At Kepkee’s Diesel & Performance, we believe communication is just as important as mechanical expertise. A well repaired vehicle means nothing if the customer does not understand the work that was done.
That is why we take time to clearly explain every diagnosis and repair recommendation. We make sure customers know what is wrong, why it happened, and what options are available.
This approach helps eliminate confusion and builds confidence in every repair decision. Our goal is to make sure every customer feels informed and comfortable before approving any work.
